GuardianStack UK
Compliance that keeps up with your business.
GuardianStack is building the Compliance Operating System for UK SMEs: one place to detect what changed, understand what matters, guide the work and keep the evidence.
Why we exist
Compliance is ongoing work, not a document you finish once.
Small businesses change constantly. They add apps, suppliers, people, policies and new ways of using customer data. The compliance picture moves with those decisions, but the work is often scattered across spreadsheets, templates, inboxes and occasional professional reviews.
GuardianStack is being built to connect that work. The aim is not to replace accountable human judgement or promise that a business is “compliant”. It is to make the next sensible action clearer, preserve the evidence behind it and reduce the amount of work that has to be reconstructed later.
The operating loop
From change to evidence, without the black box.
The product is organised around a simple loop. Each stage should show what GuardianStack knows, what it has inferred and what still needs confirmation.
- 01
Detect what changed
Begin with observable signals: the public website, connected systems and the evidence your business already holds.
- 02
Show what matters
Separate a detected fact from an inference, explain why it matters and point back to the supporting source.
- 03
Guide the work
Turn obligations into prioritised, specialist workflows with human review at the decisions that need judgement.
- 04
Keep the evidence
Preserve a useful record of what was checked, decided and completed so the next review does not start from zero.
How we’re building the Compliance Operating System
The model decides what a question needs. Verified facts stay outside its control. A measurement harness tests every change, while bounded improvement loops strengthen coverage without rewriting the facts.
This is the architecture GuardianStack is building towards. The trust spine and development loop are running today; the wider in-product compounding loop remains part of the roadmap.

Most AI tools let the model make up the answer. So you can't really trust it.
GuardianStack flips that. The model only picks the path. The wording may be generated. The facts never are.
A fenced router reads the question, then builds the answer from certified facts. Because those facts stay locked, every answer can be checked.
And we prove every change. Answers are tested against a growing labelled benchmark, with safety gates that block regressions.
When testing finds a weakness, the improvement loop makes one bounded fix, then proves it again, while the facts stay locked.
GuardianStack. Compliance answers you can finally trust.

Where we are today
UK data protection first. Shopify as the proving ground.
Anyone can begin with GuardianStack’s free, read-only website check. It reviews public privacy, cookie, security and business-identity signals and separates detected facts from items that need confirmation.
Selected UK Shopify merchants are testing the first connected workspace: specialist workflows for cookies, data-processing agreements, retention and privacy review, with cited sources and human approval boundaries.
The wider UK SME operating system is the direction we are building towards. It is not a claim that every compliance domain or integration is already live.
